What up family?Here at Chaplon Clothing art is big to us, from the visual to the performing. One type of art that's really big to all of us is music. We love listening to it, but we also love creating it.... We've got emcees and producers in the camp quiet as it's kept. Creativity is big not just because we create some dope stuff but it causes us to appreciate the work that goes into producing a body of work. The converse side however is that we are much more critcical than the average cat. I really just want to take this time to shot out some of the cats who are killing has killed and will kill in the music scene.
Let me clarify this list before I script it. By killing it I mean these cats bring it by way of lyrical prowess and content. Not the run of the mill rims weed women and murder dope boy stuff. That's cool I respect their lyricism and the work they put into they're music even when spitting about that stuff ex: Clipse, B. Siegel, Jae Mills, Wayne(though I have some issues with that cat, he is sick), LOX, T.I., Luda....
With that said some of these cats are underground but they are dope and some are new too.... Keep that in mind.
I'm shouting out the Roots Crew, Blu & Exile, Pacific Division, Mickey Factz, Outkast, Talib, Mos Def, L Boogie, Fugees, Little Brother Pharoah Monche, Lupe Fiasco(hottest Album out now!!!!!), Kanye as a PRODUCER, Common, Scarface, Zero, Neon Collars(what up J8) Jean Grae, Saigon.....
Seriosuly the list goes on that just a fraction of my hip hop list....
